I should add;

I still care deeply for Lisa.
Don't try to cause Drama, say nasty things or try to take sides.

She's taking time to figure out what makes her happy.
Her happiness is all I've wanted.

I'm sad things are happening the way they are, but I'll be even unhappier if people assume they can be catty, snide or just plain rude about her.

People always take sides. It's just the way they are. Hopefully the drama storm won't get too out of control.

I lost a lot of friends when I left Matt- I was 'the evil bitch who destroyed his world' in some people's minds. Never mind the fact they knew nothing of the hell he'd been putting me through for years.

I have nothing bad to say about either of you, I love you both dearly...and want you both to be happy...whether that be together or seperate...as long as you guys are happy with whatever decision you make in the end :)

As strange as it may seem, people often regress to Jr. High School when it comes to situations like this one regardless of age or maturity.
It's terribly unfortunate and surprises me less and less as life presents it's self.
I'm so sorry.
I know that you both must feel a great deal of discomfort, for I know how much you care for each other.
I wish you both wisdom, clarity and peace in your processes and decisions and hope that you leave no room for regrets.
As for friends and acquaintances, I hope that they curb ill behavior and realize that this event has absolutely nothing to do with them at all and should not try to make it any different.
I hope that you both receive bountiful amounts of the kind of support you both need and are able to process these events without much mess (pain, hurt, gossiping mobs, etc).
If ya need an ear, I have two...so, you can have one if you like.
Perhaps the wounded should swill booze while mocking the more fortunate...

i have to say that this is one instance where i am delightfully so removed from the goings ons that i have no idea what drama has/is ensuing. THANK GOD!!

i never thought or have spoken any ill about either of you, taken sides or such. gosh, never even crossed my mind. sometimes a girl, or a guy, goes thru changes and it leads to separation. sounds natural to me.

of course it takes two to tango and the tango of marriage, or even long-term partnering, esp. when living together, can be quite the challenge. we know. we're IN IT right now, as youve probably read.

much love to you darling. its so difficult when it comes to matters of the heart. i know that whatever the outcome, it will be the best for both of you, in the scope of the long run.

im glad that you are selfless enough to appreciate lisa wanting her happiness and that you would do whatever it is, even let her go, if that is what it will take. THAT my friend, is true love.
